My Dressing Table

Hey guys!

Today I thought I would share with you a place where I spend time pretty much every morning. In my room I have two big wardrobes and built in between them is a dressing table. I have a lot of makeup, hair products and beauty tools so trust me when I say this really comes in handy. I thought that ye might like to see how I arrange everything so ye might get some ideas for your own makeup etc storage!

So on the surface part I keep all my hair bits and bobs. It’s only when I took this picture that I realise how much stuff I actually have! I’ll admit I barely use half of it so a clear out is probably needed but let's be honest I’m not going to do that any time soon. I also keep my make-up brushes here and I love these pot things I got from Ikea for storing them (you can see them in the top pic), they’re so cute. The purple thing is actually a drawer compartment but it’s really handy for separating all my hair things and mirrors, organised mess is what I’d call it!

In the drawer of my dressing table I store all my make-up. I have 6 little boxes and a big cutlery tray thing. I actually got all these from Ikea so I would definitely recommend taking a look in there if you need some storage stuff. If you do have a drawer, a cutlery tray is so useful for keeping them all separated and a lot easier than trying to find things in a make-up bag! I keep my palettes at the back, just behind the tray, but you can’t really see them in the picture.

I have a couple of things on my dressing table to make it look a bit nice. There’s candles, a photo and little ornaments on the surface. On both sides I have post cards I’ve been sent stuck up. I really love how they look plus it reminds me of the messages from friends written on the backs of them!

So that is my dressing table, hopefully you got some ideas yourself,  I always like nosing about people's stuff!

I have to apologise for not posting in two weeks. I've just been so busy with school and homework and then I've been spending the weekends studying and going out (work hard play hard am I right?). I've been missing blogging though so I'll really try to post more in the next few weeks.
