Sleek Cream Contour Review
Hey guys!
If there's one thing you should know about me and my makeup habits, it's that I love to contour. I also love Sleek products. I've have been partial to the Sleek bronzer/highlighter/blush palette for a while but I have decided to try something new. I've never used cream contours before but when I saw this palette in my local Boots I decided to give it a go!

How To Fake Tan
Hey guys!
As a true pale Irish girl, the only kind of tan my
body will ever get is from a bottle. Whenever I’m somewhere that’s really sunny
(i.e not Ireland!) I lather up in factor 50 and wear sun tops and baseball
caps. Somehow I usually burn anyway and although I like when I get past the
pain and the burn turns to tan I would prefer to stay pale in the first place.
I’ll take pasty skin over skin cancer, wrinkles and dark spots thank you very
much!
Anyway this is where the magic that is fake tan comes
into play. Generally I only put on fake tan when I’m going out but as it’s
summer I have decided that I might start applying it more often. My current tan
of choice is the Cocoa Brown 1 hour tan mousse which is really easy to apply
and lasts well. However as it is a mousse it tends to stick to your knees and
elbows after the rest of the tan has washed off. The last time I wore this tan
I got several compliments about how good it looked, which is always nice!
I think that over the years I have perfected my
tanning routine and so today I will share that with you!

Bronze Eyes and Dark Nude Lips- Simple Makeup Look
Hey guys!
This is a look I created a while ago just on a day when I was going for lunch with my friend. I also got my hair wash, cut and blowdried that morning so that's why it's looking all sleek and not crazy. As I didn't really have anywhere else to go other than lunch and I didn't want the look to go to waste, I decided to take some selfies because why not? If you think you're looking damn fine you take those selfies girl.
Anyway I thought that I would share this look with you today as I had the pictures on my camera and thought I might as well throw them up here!

Revlon Colorstay Foundation&Revlon Photoready primer REVIEW
Hey guys!
So I mentioned in my Winter Haul post a while back that I bought the Revlon
Colourstay foundation and the Revlon Photoready primer. Today, as you probably
have already guessed from the title, I’m going to review both these products.
Now I had been eyeing up this foundation for a while.
I had heard good things, but for a drugstore foundation I thought it was a bit
on the pricey side (it retails for about 18euro in Ireland). However I received some
Boots vouchers for Christmas and I thought might as well give it a go.
I think you can imagine how annoyed I was when I went
back a week later to the very same Boots and saw that they were having a 2 for
€20 offer on Revlon face products! So to suppress my anger I decided that I was
still going to benefit from this offer and bought another Colourstay
foundation and the Photoready primer.

Hair Dye FAIL
Hey Guys!
So it’s been 3 weeks since my last post and I’m sorry
about that, just had a lot going on with school and stuff! But today I thought
I would tell you about a recent home dying experience that I had. You might be
expecting bright orange hair or something but actually it’s the opposite.
Literally nothing happened. It might seem a bit irrelevant to put up a post
about something that didn’t work but if any of you guys are thinking about
dying you hair at home I just wanted to say that I don’t recommend this
product!

Simple Make-up, Hair and Outfit for a Casual Day
Hey guys!
Originally I was going to title this as ‘lazy day
hair, make-up and outfit’ but realistically if I know that I’m going to be at
home all day I’ll be wearing no makeup and trackies! But this is something you
could do if you know you’re not going to be doing much but still want to look like you made an effort.

Top 5 BB Creams
Hey guys!
BB creams became really big a few years ago and
they’ve stuck around. They’re perfect if you’re having a good skin day or just
don’t feel like wearing that much make-up! I wear BB cream to school most days,
so here are a couple that I have tried and tested.
Rimmel- 9-in-1
This is probably my joint favourite BB cream that I have tried. It gives good coverage plus it has SPF, which is definitely something I look for whenever I buy makeup.

My Dressing Table
Hey guys!
Today I thought I would share with you a place where I
spend time pretty much every morning. In my room I have two big wardrobes and
built in between them is a dressing table. I have a lot of makeup, hair
products and beauty tools so trust me when I say this really comes in handy. I
thought that ye might like to see how I arrange everything so ye might get some
ideas for your own makeup etc storage!

Vampire Makeup
Hey guys!
So, Halloween is this Saturday and I'm really buzzing for it this year. Usually I don't get into Halloween that much but I'm really excited for it. I've been watching lots of YouTube tutorials lately trying to get inspired. I've decided that I'm going to keep it quite simple and be a vampire so here's the sort of make up gives you that vampy vibe!

What's In My Night Away Bags
Hey guys!
Sometimes if I'm going away for just one or two nights I don't want to have to pack all my makeup, face stuff etc. So I have these two little overnight kit bags which I bring with me, and they are just so handy. One of them has all the stuff I might need for the bathroom and the other one is beauty bits. My sister actually made up the beauty bag for me and I just added a couple of things to it. Goes to show these little bags make great presents too because I use mine all the time!

My Top 4 Lip Balms
Hey guys!
So yeah lip balms, bit random but my lips have just
been soo dry recently, because of an acne treatment I'm on, and I have to apply lip balm about 493902836 times a day.
Luckily I actually have loads of them so I’ve been able to switch it up lots. I
have them stored everywhere, my locker, pencil case, beside my bed, it’s like
I’m leaving a trail of lip balms or something. Anyway, I decided I would narrow
down my fave 4 so enjoy!

Beauty Essentials for Autumn
Hey guys!
I realised in the last few days that I’m actually
quite excited for it to be autumn. Normally I think autumn is that forgotten
season in between summer holidays and the Christmas season. But since it hit
September first I’ve been looking forward to wooly jumpers, fires and dark
colours (I mean like burgundy, khaki, burnt orange y’know?) Don’t worry I’m not
gonna even mention PSL, because I’ve never actually had one (am I even a white
girl??) But really it must be my Irish soul that secretly loves rain pattering
on the pavements and the sun going down at 5 o’clock. Autumn and winter pretty
much roll into one big winter in Ireland by the way, so that’s why it sounds like I’m describing the middle of
December, not the start of September! Anyway enough with the rambling on with
the ambling (through my autumn essentials).
Autumnal Eyeshadows
I think in autumn I wear less shimmery shades and more
rich shades. I love a nice gold or bronze colour, especially since I have blue
eyes. I’m also a fan of purple/red shades even though I’m lacking on them, an
autumn makeup shop is in need I think!

Simple Hair and Makeup for School
Hey guys!
So.. I start school tomorrow. BLEUGH. What's keeping me going is knowing that it's my last year and telling myself how much I'm gonna miss seeing my friends every day once we're finished. But anyway I thought I would do a little hair and makeup thing for ye of what I do on an average school day.

Five Budget Beauty Buys
Hey guys!
Now I am a sucker for a bargain. Sales, special offer,
anything cheap that’s usually kinda expensive, I am there! But when it comes to
makeup it can get a little tricky. It’s definitely possible to get really cheap
makeup but sometimes the quality can be not very good so often you just get what
you pay for. However today I’d like to share with you some my fave things that are
inexpensive yet also do a good job. I have to apologise in advance for not
knowing all the exact prices, I’ve looked them up but the price just depends on
where you buy them! I’m pretty sure they’re all under €5. So, on with the
products that are good for you pocket AND good for your face..

3 Easy Plait Hairstyles
Hey guys!
Look we've all been there, you wake up and your hair is frizzy, knotty and just screaming Bad Hair Day. At this point you have two choices, either throw it up in an artistic messy bun, emphasis on the messy, OR you can take a bit of time to turn your BHD into a GHD (who else just realised where the hair straighteners got they're name from?)

My Top 5 Nail Varnishes
Hey guys!
Today I thought I
would share with you my 5 favourite nail varnishes/polishes/whatever you call
them. I don’t really have a big colour range in these. I swear I do wear other
colours apart from blue and red I just happen to have those colours in the
products I like!

Taming a Curly Mane
Hey guys!
I’ve had naturally
curly hair all my life and if anything it’s gotten curlier as I’ve gotten
older. As a child I hated my hair and always wished I had straight hair but
that has changed since. So I thought I would share my tips on how I came to
appreciate my unruly mop.
