My Top 3 Rompers

Hey guys!

I meant to post this ages ago but I didn't get around to it until now! Today I'm going to share with you my top 3 favourite rompers. These are 3, what I would say, summery outfits and you might notice a common theme because they all have pretty cool backs! I love playsuits/jumpsuits cause you can just throw them on and you have a whole outfit ready to go. They can also be dressed up or down so are very versatile.

How To Take a Look from Day to Night

Hey guys!

Now, I am someone who can spend hours getting ready for a night out. However as I’ve gotten older and the nights out have become more frequent I have cut down my getting ready hours. While I do sometimes enjoy spending half an hour doing my tan, there are other times when there’s simply not enough time. Today I’m going to show you how I would take a look from day to night. I have to apologise for these pictures, I was just about to go out with my family so just quickly got ready and took a few snaps. Hopefully I’ll get a chance to retake and reupload these photos but for now, they will have to do!

Sleek Cream Contour Review

Hey guys!

If there's one thing you should know about me and my makeup habits, it's that I love to contour. I also love Sleek products. I've have been partial to the Sleek bronzer/highlighter/blush palette for a while but I have decided to try something new. I've never used cream contours before but when I saw this palette in my local Boots I decided to give it a go!

How To Fake Tan

Hey guys!

As a true pale Irish girl, the only kind of tan my body will ever get is from a bottle. Whenever I’m somewhere that’s really sunny (i.e not Ireland!) I lather up in factor 50 and wear sun tops and baseball caps. Somehow I usually burn anyway and although I like when I get past the pain and the burn turns to tan I would prefer to stay pale in the first place. I’ll take pasty skin over skin cancer, wrinkles and dark spots thank you very much!
Anyway this is where the magic that is fake tan comes into play. Generally I only put on fake tan when I’m going out but as it’s summer I have decided that I might start applying it more often. My current tan of choice is the Cocoa Brown 1 hour tan mousse which is really easy to apply and lasts well. However as it is a mousse it tends to stick to your knees and elbows after the rest of the tan has washed off. The last time I wore this tan I got several compliments about how good it looked, which is always nice!
I think that over the years I have perfected my tanning routine and so today I will share that with you!

Current Skincare Routine

Hey guys!

It’s been a while since I’ve written a post on skincare. My skincare routine doesn’t change as often as it used to as my acne has gotten a lot better due to a medication I was on. However I am still really interested in skincare and love trying new products. Today I thought that I could update you on my current skincare routine. It’s quite simple and doesn’t involve very many products as I’ve come to realise that sometimes the best thing for my skin is to just leave it alone!

What I Wore In Croatia

Hey guys!

Yesterday I returned from a ten day trip to Croatia with my family. It was a holiday of sun burn, ice cream and swimming and it was lots of fun. I am currently itching my entire body due to both bug bits and peeling sun burn! Anyway I thought that I could share with you a few of the outfits I wore while I was there. I have to admit that I forgot to get pics of my outfits most days and often I spent most of the day in my bikini anyway! But here are a few of the outfits I did manage to capture.

Bronze Eyes and Dark Nude Lips- Simple Makeup Look

Hey guys!

This is a look I created a while ago just on a day when I was going for lunch with my friend. I also got my hair wash, cut and blowdried that morning so that's why it's looking all sleek and not crazy. As I didn't really have anywhere else to go other than lunch and I didn't want the look to go to waste, I decided to take some selfies because why not? If you think you're looking damn fine you take those selfies girl.

Anyway I thought that I would share this look with you today as I had the pictures on my camera and thought I might as well throw them up here!

Summer Holiday Haul

Hey guys!
As you're reading this I'll actually be in Croatia cause this is a post I had pre-prepared! After months of being cooped up studying in my room I finally got to hit the shops and God had I missed them. On this day we only had a couple of hours so I didn't get a huge amount but I did get some holiday essentials.

I'm Back!

Hey guys!

I can't believe that it's been 5 weeks since my last post!! Throwback to my 2016 Goals  when I said that I would post at least once every two weeks haha. But I do have a pretty good excuse because I sat my Leaving Cert from the 8th to the 23rd of June. So, obviously I've been pretty busy studying for that and since then I've been pretty busy celebrating the fact that it's  over!

OOTD 6 May

Hey guys!

I go to a uniform wearing school so my usual daily attire is shirt and tie however every now and again we have 'casual days'. These are days when you can wear your own clothes and pay 2 euro in aid of some charity. Yesterday was one of these casual days and this is what I wore. Of course I went with my classic high waisted black jeans and superstars. I actually wore the shirt but I thought a denim jacket would also go well with this outfit!

Tips for Practical Exams

Hey guys!

Apologies for the 2 weeks abscence since my last post! I recently had my Irish oral (counts for 40% of overall exam), French oral (25% of overall) and music practical (50% of overall!) for my Leaving Cert. It’s fair to say they were a pretty stressful 2 weeks. But luckily I made it through and I thought today I could give a few tips based on my experience. I’m not even sure if other countries have practical and oral exams but hopefully this might be helpful in some way anyway!

1.    Start prepping early
I think it’s especially tempting for practical exams to leave everything until the last minute. You don’t necessarily need to spend hours studying but if you’re not prepared you will regret it! Try and do a bit every night leading up to the exams rather than leaving it all until the last week, you’ll save yourself a lot of stress.

March Favourites

Hey guys!
I haven’t done a favourites post in aaages because to be honest I use the same things all the time! The only things that really change regularly are the songs I listen to and shows I watch. But anyway I thought I would do one this month because I love hearing about other people’s favourites.

Revlon Colorstay Foundation&Revlon Photoready primer REVIEW

Hey guys!

So I mentioned in my Winter Haul post a while back that I bought the Revlon Colourstay foundation and the Revlon Photoready primer. Today, as you probably have already guessed from the title, I’m going to review both these products.
Now I had been eyeing up this foundation for a while. I had heard good things, but for a drugstore foundation I thought it was a bit on the pricey side (it retails for about 18euro in Ireland). However I received some Boots vouchers for Christmas and I thought might as well give it a go.
I think you can imagine how annoyed I was when I went back a week later to the very same Boots and saw that they were having a 2 for €20 offer on Revlon face products! So to suppress my anger I decided that I was still going to benefit from this offer and bought another Colourstay foundation and the Photoready primer.

Trying Coconut Oil!

Hey guys!

I’ve seen a couple of blog posts and YouTube videos with people using coconut oil. There’s so many uses for coconut oil, not only is it a healthy alternative to other oils used for cooking but can also be used to keep you hair, body and face radiant! So I decided to purchase a jar and see what the fuss is all about.

First of all, I knew that coconut oil wasn’t a liquid but I wasn’t expecting it to be quite as solid as it is! To use it you really need to rub it in your hands for a minute or two. I’ve been using coconut oil as a cleanser for the last week and I’m really enjoying it. It’s good for getting makeup off, especially for eye makeup it’s amazing . Also because it is an oil it leaves your skin feeling soft and moisturised (though I do still go in with my normal moisturiser after!)

I’m definitely going to keep using coconut oil anyway. I think I’ll try it as a deep conditioner for a hair treat! Also I might try ‘oil pulling’ which is a technique people use for healthier teeth and gums when you swish coconut oil in your mouth for 20 minutes or so.

Do you guys use coconut oil for anything?

Hair Dye FAIL

Hey Guys!

So it’s been 3 weeks since my last post and I’m sorry about that, just had a lot going on with school and stuff! But today I thought I would tell you about a recent home dying experience that I had. You might be expecting bright orange hair or something but actually it’s the opposite. Literally nothing happened. It might seem a bit irrelevant to put up a post about something that didn’t work but if any of you guys are thinking about dying you hair at home I just wanted to say that I don’t recommend this product!

Simple Make-up, Hair and Outfit for a Casual Day

Hey guys!

Originally I was going to title this as ‘lazy day hair, make-up and outfit’ but realistically if I know that I’m going to be at home all day I’ll be wearing no makeup and trackies! But this is something you could do if you know you’re not going to be doing much but still want to look like you made an effort.

3 Easy&Healthy Breakfasts

Hey guys!

Today I'm gonna share with you 3 healthy, and in my opinion, tasty breakfasts that I enjoy. I only realised after that I use oats in all of them, I don't actually eat oats every day they're just really handy! I didn't put in any of the measurings because I always just play it by ear.

2016 Goals

Hey guys!

January is just over, so I’m a little bit late to this party but I thought that today I would share with ye a few of my goals for 2016. I don’t really call them resolutions, more things that I want to achieve over the year.

Top 5 BB Creams

Hey guys!

BB creams became really big a few years ago and they’ve stuck around. They’re perfect if you’re having a good skin day or just don’t feel like wearing that much make-up! I wear BB cream to school most days, so here are a couple that I have tried and tested.

 Rimmel- 9-in-1
This is probably my joint favourite BB cream that I have tried. It gives good coverage plus it has SPF, which is definitely something I look for whenever I buy makeup.

18 Things I Learned in 18 Years

Hey guys!

So, just before New Year’s I turned 18. Finally an adult woo! I thought it would be fitting to share some things that I have learned over my childhood years, though I think I’ll still count myself as a child until I’m into my 20’s to be honest! Obviously not tryna preach here or anything just sharing some stuff I hope can help ye out, be you 7 or 70.

1.    Appreciate your family
I’m definitely guilty of not doing this. I’ll be the first to admit that out of my family of 5, I’m probably the most argumentative. I don’t mean to be I just tend to take stress out on other people. But your family are the people who love you the most in the world so I try to remember to be grateful because I know I’m so lucky to have them in my life (ok  we’re already getting soppy here)

2.    Don’t stress the small stuff
I tend to get really stressed about things that don’t matter. It’s like I know I shouldn’t worry but I still stay up at night thinking about things that really don’t need to be worried about! I just try to remember that in 5 years’ time I’ll probably completely have forgotten about the stress, or to be honest, 5 days time!

OOTD - 5th Jan

Hey guys!

So I know technically this isn't an outfit of the day but it is an outfit of a day!
I was wearing this outfit on the day I put up my last post (check that out here). I still wanted to put it up though because I'll probably just be wearing my school uniform and comfy clothes for the next few weeks as I'm studying for my Leaving Cert pre exams!

Winter Haul

Hey guys!

So these are some of my recent purchases. Some I got when I went to Scotland and a lot of stuff I picked up post Christmas!
